Hong Kong China Rowing Association

Jointly organized by the Hong Kong, China Rowing Association and the Hong Kong Schools Sports Federation, the Inter-School Indoor Rowing Competition (N.T. regions) 2016 – 2017 was held successfully on 27 & 28 April 2017 (Thursday & Friday) at Po Wing Road Sports Centre, Sheung Shui. This year, students from 62 schools with over 1500 participants took part and all students and audience enjoyed the excitement of the Championships.

There were 12 new records of the Championships was produced under the high atmosphere. The highlight of the Championships was on the Boy’s A grade individual 500m and Girl’s A grade individual 500m, the champion went to Furio John Jarrie Lopez from Caritas Tuen Mun Marden Foundation Secondary School and CHAN Mei Yin from Fanling Lutheran Secondary School respectively. Another highlight event, Boy’s A grade and Girl’s A grade 4x500m relay, the champion went to HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.2 Secondary School and S.K.H. Bishop Mok Sau Tseng Secondary School respectively.

After 2 days exciting competitions, the Liu Ming Choi Lutheran College and T.W.G.Hs. Kap Yan Directors’ College won the Boys’ and Girls’ Overall Champion respectively.
