Hong Kong China Rowing Association

The Hong Kong, China Rowing Association (HKCRA) is pleased to welcome Mr. Michael Wan as its newly appointed Executive Director. Michael brings a wealth of experience in varying roles in the sporting industry, including his General Manager role with the Hong Kong Triathlon Association and in particular his leading role with the world-famous Hong Kong Rugby Sevens. With his management and leadership skills, he is a welcome addition to lead the further development of rowing in Hong Kong.

Michael’s values and culture are aligned closely with those of the Association – “Passion to Go Beyond” – and in this respect he will have a seamless transition into our sport. Despite the many interruptions caused by Covid-19, it also provides opportunities in terms of how HKCRA progress as an organisation. He believes in, “An innovative approach and be the leading figure within our industry. Let’s take rowing to the next level and be the sport of this century!”
