Arrangements of Two Rowing Centres when Tropical Cyclone is approaching
In view of the Tropical Cyclone Haima is approaching Hong Kong, the HKCRA staff members are now carrying out the typhoon preventive measures at the two Rowing Centres. With the forecasted adverse weather conditions, all the on-water rowing activities will be stopped from 5:00pm today (19 October). In case the Hong Kong Observatory issues the Typhoon Signal No. 3, only gym room and ergo room will be in service in both Rowing Centres. Except the indoor training of Youth Development Programme and TID Programme, all the rowing courses will be cancelled. When the Hong Kong Observatory issues the Typhoon Signal No. 8, the two Rowing Centres will be closed within 2 hours until further notice. All latest update can refer to our Facebook Page.
