Dear Rowers,

We hope you are all safe following the passage of Super Typhoon SAOLA. We are pleased to confirm that there is only minor damage to our two Centres at Sha Tin.

Unfortunately this includes some small damage to the access bridges to pontoons at both Centres and some minor pontoon damage. We anticipate that all repairs can be made within a few days but will have to wait for our contractor to confirm this.

Because use of the pontoons in their current state might be a safety risk, they will remain closed for all activity until repairs are completed. Accordingly, no water activities are permitted during this period. We aim to resume water activities as soon as possible and we will provide an update here on or before Tuesday 5th September.

Indoor training is available as normal at both the Centres from Monday 4th September.
