For a performance to be considered for ratification as records of HKCRA, it must fulfill the following conditions:

1. Eligibility of athlete's status for records:-
Hong Kong Record
Holders of Hong Kong ID card.  

Hong Kong Junior Record
a. Holders of Hong Kong ID card.
b. Athletes must be aged 18 or below on the day the record is set.   

2. It must satisfy all requirements for inclusion in HKCRA Indoor Rowing Ranking.

3. HKCRA Rules of Racing – Machine Rowing shall apply wherever applicable. For local promotional events and special events, they shall be considered separately by HKCRA.

4. The full application with all information required for record ratification, i.e. official program of the race, official result (with recorded time) issued by the race organizer, etc., must be submitted to HKCRA office with 1 month from the date the record is set.

5. A copy of Hong Kong ID Card of the athlete must be included in the application for Hong Kong Records.
