The Adventure Rowing Committee deals with
all aspect of organized non-competitive sea rowing activities,
also know as sea trips, outside Shing Mun River.
The Committee consists of representatives from HKCRA member
clubs, who themselves are either experienced sea trip leaders
or have good interest in developing the activities. Committee
members join by invitation.
The Committee meets at regular interval. A secretary is appointed
within the Committee to take minutes and distribute the minutes
to committee members and HKCRA office for record.
The terms of reference shall be:

To develop sea rowing activites, or sea
trips, beside competitive rowing. |

To assist HKCRA member clubs in the organization of
sea trips. |
| 3. |
To suggest to the Board a proper organizational structure
to develop leaders for the activities. |
| 4. |
To review levels and number of sea trip leaders to meet
activity demand. |
| 5. |
To organize sea trip leader courses at regular interval
and to determine relevant course contents. |
| 6. |
To produce guidelines or handbook in the organization
of sea trips. |
| 7. |
To advise related safety issues in sea trips. |
| 8. |
To expand geographic boundary where sea trip activities
can be held. |
| 9. |
To recommend the Board in the procurement of sea equipment,
from a fund provisioned for such or from other funding
sources. |
| 10. |
To suggest to centre operation ways to optimize sea
trip equipment usage. |
| 11. |
To facilitate sharing of sea trip rowing experience
among HKCRA clubs¡¦ members and to link up clubs with qualified
sea trip leaders. |
| 12. |
To review HKCRA office administrative procedures to
ensure such procedures are adequate and simple enough
to be followed by member clubs when organizing sea trips. |

To assist HKCRA office in the submission of funding
applications for the development of sea trips. |
