Dear Members and Rowing Friends,

On behalf of the Board, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a healthy, happy and successful year in 2024.

Looking to the year ahead, we will be working to broaden our rowing community and form new partnerships with other organisations. We also aim to develop new pathways for members of all abilities to progress in our sport and for new talent to emerge. Strengthening our pool of coaches will be key to this.

Good governance and financial management will continue to be a cornerstone and we will seek additional resources to support our activities.

Over the next few months we will be reviewing the membership of our Commissions and Committees. We encourage everyone who would like to contribute in different areas to put their names forward. We also welcome volunteers at all events and activities.

I would like to conclude by thanking our outgoing Chairman – Mr. Wan Ng – and the retiring Board members for their excellent work over the past years. The pandemic presented many serious challenges but nevertheless many significant milestones were achieved. As always, I would also like to thank our great staff team led by our Executive Director – Mr. Michael Wan.
